Hi ellis88. I was also someone who watched this camera when Tira and little Tumkur were fighting for their lives, it was one of the most upsetting things I have ever seen. I cried many tears over those beautiful tigers and also cannot bare the thought of any animal in distress or being mistreated. I think if all living things in this world was an animal, it would be alot nicer place to live.

I was a little shocked to read all the comments below - do we have the facts, I wonder! Seems to me, personally, that very few people/organisations want joe public to know the truth in this world. A case in point would be the politicians! It's sometimes hard to tell if, in fact, these animals are exhibited merely for entertainment value, profit or because they are virtually extinct. In my humble opinion, we are privileged to see them at all. Tempted to ramble on but better things to do. Take care all.

Noahs Ark
Mark WMark W on 5th Mar 2010
Hi everyone - the best thing about my job is that I have to visit all the zoos and not only meet the keepers but in most cases meet the animals. I can assure everyone that the animals at Noahs Ark are very well looked after and the lions have one of the biggest enclosures. As I said I dont want to get involved with peoples beliefs or politics but just enjoy the animals!

Kushkja
NoahNoah on 5th Mar 2010
Dear Sue, This camera used to have Tanvir on but now has the three cubs on as Tanvir is next door to the cubs now. Kushjka left Noah's Ark a couple of weeks ago and has gone back to her owners as she was on loan. We now solely own Tanvir and a new tiger called Tiana. If you would like any further information then please do not hesitate to contact me at info@noahsarkzoofarm.co.uk or call 01275 852606. Best wishes, Sammi Luxa- Marketing and Events Manager, Noah's Ark Zoo Farm.

Well said Sammi. These animal extremists are just out to get places liek yours who have the best interests at heart. And pull in the public to there way of thinking. People should be left to make up there own minds. I visited Noahs arc 3 times last summer (mainly because of the tigers) and would rather see them there in a fantastic enclosure with plenty of 'natural' space and enrichment, than in the concrete confines of an out dated zoo. Just llok at the Lion cubs on the above webcam, are they looking depressed..............far from it, yesterday afternoon all 3 of them spent the day playing with balls, each other and sun bathing on the platform, looking bright and vibrant. Keep up your good work. I will be soon booking my Big cat experience with you. Donna

Dear all, I am disappointed to read that some of you who were supporters of Noah's Ark and of it's tigers have been misled by extreme animal rights protestors and their website. I am happy to send you the relevant statements and information regarding this matter so please contact me. I do not wish this matter to ruin your enjoyment of the lions and tigers. Our animal keepers and staff are 100% decidated to the welfare and care of their animals and for anyone to state otherwise is extremely offensive. We were all devastated where Tira, Tumkur and the cubs passed away. I am happy to speak to any of you individually who have concerns and questions. Please email info@noahsarkzoofarm.co.uk or call 01275 852606. I am happy to speak to any one of you about this issue and answer any questions that you may have. Best wishes, Sammi Luxa- Marketing and Events Manager, Noah's Ark Zoo Farm.

Ok this may have happened, but at no time were the Tigers in any danger, k=just liek the Tiger and Lions they now have, in fact they are actually being place somewhere where they can live the rest of the lives out as natural as they possibly can be, rather than being whipped and inticed by humans to perform for cameras (which I think is far worse). There is no way these animals would survive in the wild after what they have been through, so placing them here is far better. Ok they probably needed to cut back on they numbers of Rabbits and chickens for fear of inbreading and age, there possibly are better ways of doing this than killling them, but maybe they have re-homed these animals. I don't believe in this website/organisation that everyone is mentioning, as exposing noah's arc has probably done more damage than good. sounds like they would prefer to see the tigers stay as performers than relax in a large spacious enclosure. OK they guy that owned them possiblt didn't make it 100% clear where they animals were coming from. Ever thought about that. chill out, and enjoy see such fantastic animals in as natural habitat you'll get over here, at least they won't be hunted!!! the owners of the site did admit that they did some things that they thought they were alowd to do, but have recitified that to what should have been done.

I live not far from this vile place, myself and my daughter watched every day when Tira had her cubs and all of those 12 weeks poor Tumkur was fighting for its life, all this came out in the local paper about Tira having her head and paws cut off then being skinned and buried in a field, Mr Bush the owner of this place admitted on the TV that this did happen! also in the paper at the end of the season when it shuts down the small animals eg rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens are all killed so when they open again at Easter they have all new baby bunnies etc to look good, i will never go to this place again and hope it shuts down, and they call their selves Christians!!! Rest in Peace Tira and Tumkur your in a better place xx

I saw this on facebook. I read what happened, have to admit, I was really disappointed that the zoo, and, as you say, so called animal lovers, could do this and feel nothing. It all comes down to money in the end I'm afraid, and the poor animals are the ones who suffer for it.
