ennis o7... well as you can clearly see now they are not locked up inside the pen all day. This statement has made me quite annoyed. The door is open for the giraffes to walk in and out. So it's there choice !

I think it's great to watch these beautiful girrafes at night when they come inside. Because in the day time they would rather go out like most beings.

These gorgeous elegant animals go out every day I think. They,re often not inside anyway. Watched them many hours and they do seem content and not frustrated in any way. They were probably raised in captivity although I,m guessing now.You never see any bickering between them and they,re always mooching about having a nose at somathing. It,s great to watch them settle down at night.

Do these poor animals spend all their time shut up in those pens ? hardly a natural enviroment for them.

Bed time

Really strange to see these tall whispy guys all on their knees for bedtime. Its weird with their inquisitive eyes just peeking above the rails. Stuff I would never have seen if it was not for this camera. I wonder if I watched long enough whether their heads go right down to rest actually on the floor. I have a feeling they don,t!

They were there

The beautys were there most of yesterday. There were 5 of them too. When they came to the corner to the feeder it was a really close view. Three of them head by head at the feeder actually took turns for the food, no scrapping at all.
