Cheers for this service, i think it's great that even though i live within spitting distance from Fistral ,i can still get a panoramic view of what's going on without having to get my Jimmy Jams off while sipping a cup of of rosey lee and tucking into some fodder before having a surf. Keep up the good work. PS If some jerks leave negative remarks why don't you Block them from using the service....makes sence ey?Who needs negativety anyway?
Keep up the good work guys,
Hefty backlash eh fistral29? Perhaps now we should all leave him to his own opinions, looking at the grammar and punctuation in his postings I think he may be a touch dyslexic or at least have some learning difficulties. This may also account for him not recognising the coastline, even though he claims to live there…Apologies fisrtal’s29.
Hi Towbarton, thanks for your reply. I can spot the signs, you are besotted with me. It's an alpha male thing, don't blame yourself and get too upset, i promise i'll get round to you as soon as i can. Just join the queue, i'll make time for you.I love a woman with intelligence.x
Great cam clarity and location. I think this one faces basically out to see, panning across the bay, where as the other Fistral cam, was located across the bay.
I personally prefer a static cam, moved regularly than panning, just when something gets interesting ;). But it's purely personal and I'm really happy to view anything of the coast that reminds me of the sea and the summer ahead.
I see that the usual keyboard warrior line has come out. If we dont agree with you we are all winkers, and playground merchants. Or of course we only come to fistral once a year, yawn yawn yawn.
as you cannot tell it's fistral perhaps it is you who is really a once a year merchant. Even once a year people can tell where it is.
antway enough of this I am off to sugar for a lovely coffee, perhaps see you there when you arrive in the summer for your two weeks. you can buy me a coffee and we can discuss the merits of a good education.
When the Armstrong's at the headland were in charge of the surfcam there were 3 cameras, one at little fistral and 2 opposing views of fistral. When this new company took over it was reduced to one view looking back towards the headland, and now they have changed it to this view. I don't agree that this is progress. I wish this company all the best, but this is a decision that they've got wrong. Can we go back to a view ALONG the beach and surf?
Hi mate, couldn't agree with you more. Most of the emmet's on here are pillocks. Once a year merchants, that think a wave is something to do with hairdressing. The camera should be on the side of the Headland hotel.
Wow, scary stuff. I'll bet the school playground is a frightening place at lunch time with you bunch of wank*rs parading around. Yeah, i've had the odd visit down to fistral seeing as i am born and bred Newquay, lived here
26 years.
Quote (I see that school's out for the holiday's, well done Mr Bean for stringing that sentence to-gether. Did you get any help or was it all your own work)
Together Fistral29, It's TOGETHER, Pure comedy genius.
Ps; It is Fistral beach.
@fistral29, you are an idiot of the first order. First of all you clearly have never been to Fistral otherwise you would immediately recognize the coastline. Secondly, the comment that "fistral surfcam has lost it's character" WTF!! The camera shows panned views of Fistral night and day in all of its moods. Fistral has its own character, not the camera, not the technology.
To the guys and girls from Finetra who run this site and the cameras, well done and lets hope we see some more cameras in 2010!
