Atlantic Rainforest

About
The Atlantic Rainforest is one of the most important eco-regions in the world, but is considered the second most threatened biome on the planet. Only 7% of the original forests remain, and what is left is becoming more and more fragmented. The rainforest is located in the Serra dos Órgãos Mountains, in the state of Rio de Janeiro Brazil.
This camera captures some of the incredible wildlife found in the Atlantic Rainforest. Some of the species that you are likely so see include the Swallow-tailed Hummingbird, Black Jacobin, Blue-winged Parrotlet and the Plain Parakeet.

First-time visit for this year
I am re-acquainting myself since my last visit. I know that the feeder has definitely changed - and I guess I am lucky because I have just seen three birds taking a snack or drink! They appear to have a dark blue head and green body with extremely quick wing movements - some sort of humming bird I suppose? Anyhow, they look great and they are really interesting to see. Thanks to all concerned.
