The King Harry Floating Bridge
Camera
About
The King Harry Floating Bridge is an iconic part of Cornwall’s history. Established in 1888, it connects St Mawes and the Roseland Peninsula with Feock, Truro and Falmouth by avoiding the alternative 27 mile route through Truro & Tresillian.
This camera gives an outstanding view around the River Fal on Cornwall's south coast.

winter wonderland picture
Think the picture of the Ferry in the winter wonderland is absolutely stunning! It brings up a question for me -
I 'think' I know that the smaller building(s) is the offices/storage for the Ferry but the large stone building -
is it a private residence or also connected with the Ferry Bridge? I figured that Carol W would know this and
probably lots of the others also. Thanks in advance from chilly Central Pa., USA.

Hi wintercold. The small building to the left of the picture is a shed. The left-hand side of the large stone building is the offices for the ferry company (you can see a white door), the right-hand side is where Mollie the collie lives and where Charlie the spaniel used to live. The cottage on the far right of the photo is owned by the ferry company and is a holiday let. The cottage further up the hill behind the large stone building I have no idea about!
Keep warm!

Good morning ferry fans.
Good morning ferry fans. Looking lovely down on the Fal again today. The sun's shining here too, and the birds in the woods opposite our house are singing their little hearts out. They think it's Spring bless!
