Watch the energetic and playful group of Meerkats below as they go about their day in the Walled Garden. See them sun themselves in the colder months under their heat lamp and watch as they chase each other and play together, taking it in turns to perform the regular sentry duty keeping an eye out for prey (or maybe just taking an interest in the activities of the Parks visitors).

The Meerkats Have Company !
The compound is crowded (3.15pm local). There are four 'uprights' (blokes to you and me!), and the Meerkats seem excited and curious. Me too! They are all around the men, and one climbed up onto the back of the man sitting down. I like the Meerkats better though....
