About
Keep an eye on what the Folly Farm giraffes (and keepers!) get up to. If the giraffes aren't in their house then they're outside enjoying the sunshine so please check back later.
Folly Farm's four male giraffe are the only ones you can see in Wales and they're extremely proud to have them in their collection. Rafiki, Zulu and Taharqa arrived at Folly Farm in April 2009 and were joined by 18 month old Rian in May 2010.
In the wild Giraffe are found in the Sub-Saharan of Africa becoming increasingly rare in the West. They are normally found in groups. Female giraffe associate in groups of a dozen or so members occasionally including a couple of young males. Males tend to live in "bachelor" herds, with older males often leading solitary lives.

ennis o7... well as you can clearly see now they are not locked up inside the pen all day. This statement has made me quite annoyed. The door is open for the giraffes to walk in and out. So it's there choice !
night time ? day time ?
I think it's great to watch these beautiful girrafes at night when they come inside. Because in the day time they would rather go out like most beings.
