About
At the southern end of Cardigan Bay, the town of Cardigan (Ceredigion) sits on the Teifi river which runs into the sea at Poppit Sands. The beach is backed by sand dunes and has all amenities, it is also a Blue Flag beach.
There is often good surf at Poppit Sands but it is also popular with kitesurfers and windsurfers.

This is actually quite a nice view across the bag. If you bring up a second browser, then click the option 'surf' you can watch the Fistral bay from the front - but that cam pans and scans.
Between the two you can get a really good perspective and there have been some fantastic sunsets over the last few weeks.
