Watch the visitors to Mead Open Farm see this years new lambs.
I want a cup of coffee but can't till I know little one is back with mum!
Bless, just look at him curled up in the feeding trough.
Luckily the non-mums don't seem too interested in it. It seems to be the already-mums who head-butt the lambs that aren't their own to get them away from their own babies. Hopefully if the lamb squeezed out, it can squeeze back in again to get back to its mum.
Hope someone comes and rescues baby soon :(
I've also posted a comment about it on their blogpage in case they're monitoring that more closely than this CIL site. They will be keeping a close eye on the ewes round the clock anyway, so I'm sure it will soon be rescued. BTW, Jane, there's a response for you on the other lamb site.
Thanks Lulu for letting me know the other site have replied.
I think a lamb has got in with the pregnant ewes. I hope the staff get it out quickly!
Little lamb the wrong side of the gate - trying to get to mum on the other side...help!
One little lamb has climbed through the fence to where the expectant ewes are ! Hope he can get back.
Help, someone needs to rescue the lamb which has inevitably gone through the hay feeder from the post-natal ward into the ante-natal unit! No way will it find its way back unaided, and won't be able to feed if parted from its Mum. Help.
